The Future of Energy A Conference for Manufacturers
Creating a secure, sustainable and affordable supply is critical to the success of Lancashire’s businesses.
The recently formed Lancashire Manufacturing Group has identified energy as the most immediate priority for the manufacturing sector’s wellbeing and competitiveness as it plays a key role in revitalising the UK economy. This exclusive conference will bring specialist speakers from producers, distributors,academia, and energy efficiency experts to debate with manufacturers on this hot topic.
This will enable Lancashire’s manufacturing sector to add its powerful one voice, knowledgeably, to the formulation of the recently announced national energy policy and local economic development. Manufacturers can not be side-lined and this conference brings enormous opportunities to have an informed discussion on the position on energy. The need for the Government to get the policy right is imperative.
Supply chain opportunities and some good advice on how to reduce energy use will be available.
An official announcement of the launch of the Lancashire Manufacturing Network will be made to continue to capture the views and opinions of Lancashire manufacturers and extend this debate long after the conference to feed into Government.
