8. La Gritta
If you’re staying in the heart of Patong you may think that you need to travel outside the town in order to find a nice romantic restaurant for Valentine’s Day. But La Gritta proves you wrong – located at the Amari Coral Beach Resort, the restaurant has a lovely setting with fine views over the whole of Patong bay, plus a wide range of excellent Italian dishes. The price is not bad, either, so this is a good option for when you want to impress someone but you can’t afford to spend a fortune.
