It’s easy to add ecommerce to your email newsletters. Cart66 Cloud let’s you create an anchor link that will automatically add a product to your customer’s shopping cart then direct the user to any URL you specify.

Creating An Add To Cart Link

An add to cart link (also known as a product link) can have three attributes:

sku: The sku for the product to be added to the cart

quantity: (optional Default: 1) The quantity of the item to be added to the cart

redirect: The URL of the page where you want your buyer to be redirected after the item is added to the cart.

Let’s assume your WordPress e-commerce website powered by Cart66 Cloud is located at http://greatstuff.com and you are selling a Half Fold Cellerciser and “hfc” is the sku for the product.

Here are some example links.

NOTE: When specifying your own URL, be sure to URL encode the URL.

Also, keep in mind that you can wrap images in anchor tags too. So, rather than having the text “Buy Now” be a link, you could link your own fancy “Buy Now” image.

There are all kinds of great things you can do with add to cart links. Here are a few ideas to get you thinking:
