Cathcart Associates are currently looking for a skilled Web Developer to join a small dynamic team in central Edinburgh. This is an opportunity to join a leading service provider organisation who have been recognised as one of the growing companies to work for in Scotland. This position will be within their newest office in Edinburgh and the team work closely with the head quarter office.
As one of only two web developers in the team (the other developers are C# Engineers) you will be working with both front and Back End technologies in a highly agile environment. You will therefore need to be a competent Web Developer who can work across the entire life cycle of projects. The company will consider all levels of experience but you should have some commercial experience with the relevant technologies.
Key skills
*HTML 5/CSS3
*JavaScript (JavaScript framework experience such as Angular.js is highly desirable)
*jQuery
*Responsive web design
Any experience with PHP and any mobile (android/iOS) development experience would also be highly desirable but is not essential if you have good Front End experience and an eagerness to learn.
The company are currently developing brand new mobile and web apps within this team so it's a really good time to join them. You will get the chance to work with brand new technologies and have a lot of autonomy within the team.
