Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Sr. Web Developer with J2EE. Candidate is responsible for development, integration, deployment, and ongoing support of critical web solutions. Assist in defining and achieving the mobile strategy which enables the achievement of business goals and satisfaction levels. Collaborate with business partners and strategic vendors to deliver cost effective, timely and customer-focused solutions. This involves planning, analysis, detailed design, developing/coding, testing and implementation of the components as well as on-going support.
Responsibilities:
Use Java/J2EE, Java APIs, web services, XML, SOAP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular.js, node.js, mongoDB, PHP, MVC framework, IOS and Android to provide web based solutions to meet user needs
Take ownership for delivery of the technology solution
Design and code applications in accordance with functional and technical programming standards and best practices.
Work with the Technical Specialist to convert user requirements into technical specifications required to satisfy the Work Request(s)
Analyze and design enhancements and fixes to application code or packaged extension, as well as required fixes to production problems and new Work Requests
Plan and execute unit and integration testing for effected application code
Determine time estimates and schedule for work within the designated area of responsibility
Complete all appropriate technical and support documentation required to maintain the application
Participate in quality reviews and verify traceability of the application design changes to the requirements
Provide coaching, code reviews, and mentoring to other Application Developers (not supervisory
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related degree is required.
5+ years professional experience working in Web Development environment
Ideal Preferred experience:
o Oracle WebCenter
o Web services development experience
o Web UX design
o Mobile application development experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience using Oracle Databases
Minimum 1 year of professional experience coaching and mentoring other Developers.
3+ years of experience working within an SDLC and working on projects involving other teams is required.
Demonstrated background of designing, developing & testing various web based software applications.
Demonstrated experience working with various enterprise teams across the software development life cycle, to review, inspect, document, and ensure the quality of software products being tested and eventually implemented.
Demonstrated grasp of debugging, reviewing log captures and other forms of technical troubleshooting.
Experience working with Database and Application Server Infrastructure - preferred.
Experience with Performance tuning of queries and applications to increase server response times
Experience with Experience with Oracle WebCenter Site/Portal/Content, SOA, Restful APIs - Preferred
