Senior Front End Developer - Amsterdam
Company profile:
International Telecommunications company leading the Internet and Mobile services market throughout Europe requires a highly technical Front End developer responsible for the development and improvement of the websites and company platforms (strong focus on E-commerce as well as customer services). As a Senior Front End developer you will be working close to the testers and web designers and your main responsibility will be the Front End development, creating clean and optimized JavaScript/JQuery code as well as keeping a keen eye on the website's performance.
Requirements:
4 to 6 years' experience as a Front End developer
Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, XML, Jquery and JSON, PHP
Experience with OO Design/programming
Strong knowledge and experience with Zend framework or similar
Agile methodologies, SCRUM
Knowledge of Magento is a plus
E-commerce experience is a pre
Out-of-the box thinker
Excellent problem-solving skills
English only required, Dutch is a pre
IT Degree level education
Testing web applications, integration testing, SVN and JIRA
Responsibilities:
Writes/reviews technical documentation/design together with the Lead Developer;
Produces clean, optimized JavaScript/JQuery code
Writes technical documentation/design.
Analyzes and provides feedback to the Lead Developer in system design and architecture
Designs/reviews unit/integration tests
Develops and improves the company websites, and assists sales and marketing department with their campaigns
User interaction and implementation of interactive processes in the website
Shares knowledge with the team and helps less experienced developers
Salary package:
Euros 3.000 - 3.500/month
Bonus scheme (Up to 15%)
