Businesstaff has been retained by an industry leading distribution company is in search of a mid-level PHP Web Developer at their Boise, Idaho location. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and deploying high quality, highly reliable, scalable enterprise web applications and user interfaces. You will be responsible for both Front End web UI and Back End web application development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Front End web UI & Back End web application development.
Analyze requirements, architect & design solutions.
Write, test, integrate and document web applications that meet business needs.
Analyze, troubleshoot and fix bugs and other problems, working with support as necessary.
Collaborate with the team to meet defined goals and provide ideas and initiative in the improvement of the processes and tools used.
Generate quality HTML/CSS markup and JavaScript from Photoshop mockups.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of how to develop in one or more web IDE's (Integrated Development Environments), such as Eclipse, NetBeans, RPGsp, etc.
Experience with computer programming concepts, relational databases, programming languages, and system design.
Excellent knowledge of Linux development environment and open source tools/platforms.
A solid foundation of semantic HTML and CSS.
Strong understanding of PHP, application architecture and object-oriented design.
Experience working with JavaScript (especially jQuery, AJAX).
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
2-5+ years building, testing and deploying high quality, highly reliable, scalable enterprise web applications & user-interfaces in a team environment.
Expertise working in a LAMP & open-source environment. Experience with version control systems (particularly Git).
Experience building applications that use REST based web services and JSON data structures.
MVC, DOM, JSON, XML, AJAX, jQuery, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL.
Drupal or other open source CMS.
Salary of $70,000 to $80,000.
