Your new role
You will be working as part of a driven, hands on and talented Product Development team. You'll work on a range of key projects for the business, enhancing and improving existing software products, as well as developing new products, to enable the business to keep growing. You will work within Kanban Agile methodology supporting the business in maintaining their lead in a highly competitive and fast paced market, and providing the best possible products in collaboration with the wider engineering and development team, and other areas of the business, ensuring a focus on high quality results.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have proven, hands on experience as a PHP Developer across the full stack, ideally using PHP5 and MySQL. Understanding of Front End/web platforms and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is key. Also knowledge of design patterns, caching, database migration, debugging, coding standards, version control conventions and of working in a Kanban or Agile Scrum environment would be an advantage. You must be passionate and driven about design, a natural problem solver, with a user focused approach, taking pride in your work. Your attention to detail is second to none, and you're confident working across the full stack and development life cycle. You are adaptable and flexible, keen to learn, happy to work with new or unfamiliar technology. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work in a fast paced environment and working collaboratively with the team
