This leading provider of IT services based on the coastline of Dorset is seeking a talented web developer to help build a new line of products and service ongoing customer requirements. The role comes as a result of growth and will be based from their head office location in the Christchurch/Bournemouth area.
This role is open to junior or mid-level candidates providing you can evidence full stack web development work surrounding PHP and JavaScript.
Your new role
You'll be joining an award winning business that is well respected in the area and will be responsible for working on large-scale, data-heavy applications. The company develop products in house and are pushing modern concepts such as gamification. You'll sit in a work alongside creatives, architects, support staff and other talented developers for a company with a genuine family feel that put staff well-being at the forefront of their business.
The business has a proven track record of delivering online and offline projects without compromising on quality. As a result they've attracted a host of household international customers which they hold ongoing relationships with. It is expected that you'll be comfortable liaising with clients.
The company operate a flat structure and run Agile so multi-skilled developers interested in cross working and sharing knowledge will suit the business. The developers are handed a lot of control and you should consider yourself capable of self-management.
What you'll need to succeed
Essentially we're looking for a talented OO PHP developer with Front End capabilities working across the common PHP Web stack. You should have experience working with modern development frameworks such as Laravel/CodeIgnitor, AngularJS/ReactJS.
The successful candidate will be active in development projects outside of work and be keen to show these at interview.
You'll have sit a technical test or be able to evidence work through GitHub or a similar forum at some point during the process.
