Now, we’re picking some of the best photos and moving them to the front page. The team at Photofocus is handpicking the best images and spotlighting them for the world to see. We’d like you to become the next featured Photographer of the Day.
Who picks the pictures?
The editorial team will change each quarter. But for the months of October, November, and December of 2015 we’re going with the following editors and categories.
Sunday | Nicole S. Young | Landscape/Nature
Monday | Brian Smith | Portrait
Tuesday | Kevin Ames | Commercial
Wednesday | Mark Morrow | Architecture
Thursday | Erika Thornes | Family Photos
Friday | Vanelli | Creative
Saturday | Marco Larousse |Street
How do you get your photo seen?
Simply post your image to one of our communities. Please limit yourself to no more than 3 posts per week. DO NOT upload your entire portfolio. Post a single image at a time and get feedback from the community and share your best work.
What’s in it for you?
We just want to shine the light on the best work and get you seen. We’d recommend that you keep your contact information in your social profiles so people can find you and get in touch.
But we love prizes too… so each month will be a different prize (it will vary, but will always be an awesome tool to help make great images). The featured photo that gets most comments (below each post) where it says rate this…. will be chosen. So if your work is picked, be sure to tell others to come and visit your photo and leave a quick comment on the work.
