The seven new models, as well as other recent PIXMA printer models, are now compatible with AirPrint wireless technology.

Purchase of UK printer maker to add 6bn yen to Brother Industries profit

Brother Industries will be able to add around 6 billion yen a year to its operating profit, starting in fiscal 2016, thanks to its acquisition of Domino Printing Sciences in June, said President Toshikazu Koike. Brother spent the equivalent of roughly 190 billion yen, a move that will likely push down operating profit by 2.7 billion yen for the year ending in March. But Domino is expected to start giving a boost to profit at Brother next fiscal year provided the U.K. company maintains its current level of earnings.
