Friends’ Central School, Varsity Boys Assistant Coach

Previous playing and coaching experience at either the high school or collegiate level is desired. Practices/games are 5 days a week with some Saturdays. Appointment: Part-Time, 3 months.

Kennett JV head coach, assistant coaches
Kennett High School is seeking a Head JV coach who will also have some varsity responsibilities. Also seeking an additional varsity assistant and JV assistant. We are looking for a faceoff specialists or someone who has experience as a goalie at the college level or experience training goaltenders. Harriton High School is looking to fill several coaching positions on both the Varsity and JV boys’ lacrosse teams. We are looking for a Varsity Assistant Coach, a JV Head Coach and a JV Assistant Coach. These are paid positions with competitive salaries based on coaching experience. These are coaching-only positions. Additional off-season coaching opportunities are available.
Harriton is located in Rosemont, of Lower Merion Township, a suburb on Philadelphia’s Main Line. We play in the extremely competitive Central Athletic League. Delaware County Christian School, Head Varsity Coach
Delaware County Christian School has 740 students in grades K-12th and is located in Newtown Square, PA just outside of Philadelphia PA. DC is looking for a Head Varsity Boy’s Lacrosse Coach which is responsible for all aspects of the varsity Lacrosse team. Successful candidates must have a strong relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Applicants should be confident in mentoring young men through sport. Unionville Varsity coach
Unionville High School is seeking a Varsity lacrosse coach for their boys’ Varsity program. Unionville facilities are top notch, with a strong booster organization and a very active and motivated youth feeder program. They are located 15 miles northwest of Wilmington, DE and 30 miles southwest of Center City Philadelphia in the heart of Chester County and the Brandywine River Valley. The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District is a nationally ranked public school system, ranked 3rd in the Philadelphia region and boasts two National Blue Ribbon Elementary Schools. Unionville HS is a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, District 1 and sponsors 20 varsity sports. UHS is also a member of the Chest-Mont League with six boys’ lacrosse teams currently ranked in the State Top 25. Souderton Area Head coach

NXT 2017 head coach
NXT Sports seeks a head coach for the NXT Lacrosse Club 2017 team. NXT Lacrosse is a three-year old club program based in Newtown Square, PA. NXT Lacrosse is focused on player development and skill building through an organized and highly professional approach to practices, and through passionate and knowledgeable instruction. NXT Lacrosse trains year-round at Episcopal Academy, one of the best high school facilities in the nation.
Tryouts for the NXT 2017 team will take place in September 2013 at Episcopal Academy. Last year over 150 players tried out for the NXT 2016 team, and that team has established itself as one of the best in the region. The NXT 2017 team will consist of 24-26 ninth graders in the class of 2017, who are willing to commit to the program year-round.
Position Duties
- Direct all on-field activities for the team;
- Commit to offering developmental feedback to players and families, up to and including personal developmental meetings with all players;
- Work closely with the NXT coaching directors to formulate practice plans and distribute practice plans to players in advance;
- Applicant must be willing to commit to NXT’s year-round practice and tournament schedule. 2013-2014 schedule consists of weekly practice September to November, and 3-4 fall tournaments; weekend indoor practice December through February and 1-2 indoor box tournaments; and summer practice May through July with a full summer tournament schedule;

Qualifications
- A current or former lacrosse player highly knowledgeable about the sport
- Coaching experience required, head coaching experience preferred
- Genuine interest in working with and developing young lacrosse players
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; able to communicate equally well with kids and parents;
- Able to commit to a year-long program
- Have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Teaching experience is a plus

The ideal candidate will have lacrosse experience playing and/or coaching at the college level; possess strong player development, communication, and organizational skills; a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the sport and players; be able to effectively motivate and develop both the novice and experienced player; able to attract new athletes to the sport; and be available for all scheduled practices and games. Freedom Lacrosse provides a strong support system including an active Board and dedicated Booster Club, Athletic Director, parent volunteers and feeder program that will allow our coaching staff to focus on athletics.
