Old School Lacrosse Club Tryouts for Summer 2014 teams. Dates: Sunday Sept. 8th and Sunday Sept. 22nd, at The Phelps School, 583 Sugartown Road, Malvern, PA 19355. Times: 2017, 12:00pm – 1:30pm; 2016, 1:30-3 p.m.; 2015, 3-4:30pm. Cost: $25. Click here for registration. Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in for tryouts. It is strongly suggested that players attend both sessions for the best possible evaluation (one fee covers both). Phillie Elite Lacrosse tryouts for 2015, 2016 & the newly forming 2017 teams in the Stadium at Plymouth-Whitemarsh HS on Sundays, Sept. 8 and Sept. 15. Youth Teams: September 8th
U-9/U-11: 11:30 to 1:00 (players entering grades 2 through 5 this September)
U-12/U-13: 1:00 to 2:30 (players entering grades 6 and 7 this September)
U-15: 3:00 to 5:00 (players entering 8th grade this September)
High School Teams: September 15th – Players entering grades 9 to 11: 1:00 to 4:00
The Tryout Registration Fee will be $20 to offset the cost of the field rental, evaluators and insurance. All players that make the teams will be credited $20 towards their membership fee. Walk-up registrations will be $25 and will not be applied towards membership. Program overview: Shamrocks players will participate in four to five tournaments in the summer (depending on team). All teams will practice two times per week starting early June beginning with our Annual Boot Camp. All players will also participate in our Integrated Box Lacrosse winter training as part of their membership. Players will also have the opportunity to participate in fall and winter tournaments.

HEADstrong North tryouts for Bucks and Montgomery counties.The open tryouts for U13 and U15 teams will be held Sunday, September 8, at La Salle College High School. Players in Grades 5 through 8 are encouraged to try out for teams that will compete in the 2014 summer season. The teams will be spearheaded by Coach Bill Leahy and Coach Tony Resch, both of La Salle College High School. Additionally, former La Salle and Drexel alumnus Brian Neary who currently serves as the General Manager for the HEADstrong Lacrosse Club of Pennsylvania, will be a primary point of contact for the HEADstrong North teams.

Mesa Fresh Lacrosse 2018 and Mesa Fresh Lacrosse 2019 evaluations, Sunday September 8th. The 2019 evaluations will be held 5-7 p.m., and the 2018 evaluations will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Kelly Field in West Chester. Following the evaluation sessions, Mesa Fresh will begin selecting top caliber players for its 2018 and 2019 teams. Each team anticipates playing in two or three tournaments in the summer of 2014 against other very competitive club teams from across the country. Players will be selected based on their demonstrated mastery of fundamental skills, lacrosse IQ, game performance, character and contributions to their youth teams. All players attending the evaluations must have a recommendation from their youth coach or coaches. Paul O’Grady and Scott Gabrielsen will be the Mesa Fresh 2018 coaches. Please have all player registration forms completed by September 1. Any questions may be directed to caitken@getmesafresh.com. A try-out fee of $40.00 is required per player and is due at Registration. If paying by check please make it payable to Mesa Fresh Lacrosse. Please make sure players provide their own equipment and mouth guards. the evaluations will be on Malvern’s artificial turf fields. Check-in begins at 5:15pm for the 2019’s and at 6:45pm for the 2018’s. The number of slots at the evaluations will be limited, and Mesa may refine the final evaluation invite list. Players will be notified after Mesa processes all the registration forms.

NXT Lacrosse Club tryouts, limited openings, for its 2015 and 2016 teams, on September 14-15 at Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square. Tryouts will be from 1-4pm both days, and all interested players are highly encouraged to attend both sessions. There is a $30 tryout fee designed to cover facility and staff costs. All players attending tryouts will receive a NXT Lacrosse Club custom numbered reversible that is theirs to keep.

Main Line Lacrosse Club Tryouts, Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th at Villanova Stadium on the Villanova University campus. Attendance for tryouts will cost $30 and can be paid online at www.mainlinelacrosseclub.com. A walk-up fee of $45 will be charged if a player has not registered online prior to tryout weekend.
If accepted into the club, tuition for the 2013-14 season will be $1,650 and includes tournament fees, uniforms, practices and coach’s salaries. Youth tryout times are specific to their high school graduation years. High school tryouts are open – please select one time on either Saturday or Sunday to attend.

The Silverbacks Lacrosse Club is hosting open tryouts for Youth boys’ age groups U9-to-U15 and boys’ High School freshmen through seniors on Sunday, Sept. 15, 1 to 6 p.m., at Our Lady of Grace Church fields (Newark, DE). All players selected for Fall 2013 Silverbacks will automatically make the 2014 Summer program. The rain date is Sunday, September 22nd.

Fusion Lacrosse 2017, 2018 tryouts, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13 at Malvern Prep, 2-4 p.m. for Class of 2018 and 4-6 p.m. for Class of 2017. Players are expected but not required to attend both tryouts. Cost is $35 for pre-registration, $45 for walk-ups (all receive Fusion pinney). Fusion is run by professional players Steve Holmes and Kevin Crowley and is a new training center that specializes in developing young players of all ages through both box and field lacrosse. HEADstrong Delco/Chesco U-15 tryouts, October 13 at Widener University’s Leslie C. Quick Stadium, Chester, 9 a.m.-noon. The tryout is open to all U-15 players from Delaware and Chester counties.
