-on a non alcoholic Diet of Ibogaine?

So, doh, I had no time to do last weeks blog, so I’ll put 2 weeks together here but make it short, so you don’t get bored!

Got the Raja back from Donsak Sunday evening after the gig and balloons in Surat and then just crashed at home.
The first 4 days of the week were spent sat on the pc and going through every tune in my current house folder. Everything got listened to again, and quite a few got taken out! Quite a lot got added to as I spent hours and hours on Beatport & Traxsource.

Rory Gallagher (Rory is Rosy in predictive text!) came back Friday with some school teacher friends and after the Pool party at The Beach Village, we went to Half Moon. I ended up getting off with one of the school teachers, so that was good, even though I lost my REAL Haviananas flip flops on the beach.
What was I doing on the beach when Half Moon is in the Jungle? Well that’s another story!

Saturday evening we all hooked up and thought we would go to Eden.
That was until we saw the waves in Haadrin. No way Jose!
So about twelve of us went to Hansa resort, when Inlightened and the gang were busting some beats.
Secret Garden’s Philippe was there, and so were an awful lot of Russians!!
How long will it be before this island becomes known as Koh Mockba!!

I took my new friend to Outlaw for Sunday roast, as she had never had one before: she is half Mexcian/half Spanish, and they don’t do roast tortillas. They were all going to Loi Lay, but I was pretty shattered from a non-stop weekend, so bailed and chilled at home.

Monday I was playing at The Maya Beach festival on Koh Tao, so after running around like a lunatic in the morning, I made the 1.30 Seatran. Had drinks (soda water) at Fizz Bar on Soiree with an ex and her new boyfriend.
I had met him before but it still felt a little weird!

Koh Tao seems cheaper than Phangan for food.
I had a chicken bbq skewer and salad for 70baht-here it’s about 150. The party was amazing. I played after Danny Nation and before Thomas Gandey (Cagedbaby). He totally blew me away, and Phil Hartnol from Orbital rocked it also.
I deffo drank too much and checked out of the party about 3. The next afternoon, Janne and Tanner (Maya owners) took all the staff out on the yacht.
It was great being surrounded by hot bikini glad girls (bar staff) and although the waves were causing the boat to rock enough to make me feel a bit seasick, I still got stuck into the onboard bbq without throwing up!

We all hooked up at Fizz later and I renewed my acquaintance with Nakadia and Steff.  Nakadia and Darragh Casey were playing at The Castle that night. Boss Aaron had asked me to play also, but they got hit with a 3am curfew so it didn’t happen, but I wasn’t unhappy about that.
I caught the last half hour of Darragh’s set (rocking as usual) and Nakadia was on form too.

Missed catching up with the Maya crew (shit!!) as I left about 2 because I was getting the 9.30 boat back.
DJ Absolud was on the boat so the 90 mins flew by as we talked non-stop-he actually talked as well, I did let him get a word in!
There were shit loads of police at the pier in Thongsala and I reckon they were deffo looking for a particular person, so being the nosey fucker I am, I hung around for a bit, but got bored in the end, and headed home.
At home, I realised another rat had got in the house, so laid one of those sticky traps you can buy and within a couple of hours, the little shit had got itself stuck in it. I won’t say much more about what happened to it after other than the fact that it is no longer with us. Don’t say anything, it’s a fucking disease carrying rat for God’s sake.

Was bored one afternoon so posted on Facebook about the fact that all girls should shave their Fannies. The post was met with a huge response, most agreeing and a few idiots saying shaved pussies looked like pre teen girls which was pretty fucking stupid I thought. I was also bored another time so took Cindy for a walk on the rare occasion that she actually is at home, and noticed that dogs are like planes and crabs. They don’t forward  in a straight line!

Thursday was Rhythm and Sands at The Beach Village which also coincided with the arrival of the King’s daughter to the island, so it also got hit with an early shutdown, but it was a BRILLIANT party anyway. Great atmosphere, great music and the Electronic Lounge, although not totally finished looked amazing, and it will for sure be the venue of choice once it re-opens.

It should be Sat Feb 9th and I am moving from Fridays to Saturdays joining Rob Gritton and Snoopoid. Also on that night will be a Celestial records party with Marco Loco and J’Adele.

Friday was spent getting ready for Full Moon. In the evening I had dinner with Ingolf Kunz and his new bride Nee. I was planning to go to Jungle Experience but thought I had too much to do on Saturday (which was also Full Moon day) , and as I didn’t wanna get fucked, I came home after dinner.

Saturday afternoon was the highlight of what had already been a great week.
I went to Secret Beach with Ramona Sky and she told me if I did the Ibogain treatment with Mike Picione and Vic Cracknell, she would be the nurse and dress up in a proper nurse’s outfit!!
Now THAT, I cannot miss out on, so now saving my baht like crazy!
Maybe I shouldn’t actually take the medicine, but just pretend, so I can savour the whole time she has to be with me for real!
But then there is the thought of coming round, and seeing her in her uniform and feeding me grapes!!
Ooh, which way to go!!
We then went for a swim as I deffo needed to cool down, and we snorkelled around the rocks to see if there were any nude people there-her idea not mine! There was one, but  like many nudists, she was gross and could have doubled as a whale!
We had an early evening meal at Haad Yao villas, then I went home, showered and  got my shit together for Full Moon.
The One & Only Ramona Sky. Blond German Nurse - can anyone blame Graham?

You know when you are sure you have done something but there is just a small part of you that is not 100% certain.
Well the day before, the little drain cover in the downstairs shower was not in its place but lying near the drain hole.
I know I had cleaned it earlier (yes my OCD even goes that far) but the metal bit had become detached from the plastic bit, so DID I not put it back properly?
So I had made a point of putting it back in the hole and closing the bathroom door in case this was how the rats were getting in. I knew it was possible as there was a break in the pipe outside the house that takes the shit into the cess pit.
So when I come back from the beach I check the bathroom, and yes, the fucking drain cover was again out of the hole and laying about a foot away.
This must mean some big fucking rat is in my pipes somewhere, so it will be another trip to Thongsala to buy a sticky rat catcher thingy!
But how big is the rat (or rats) going to be?
I mean they pushed up the drain cover and it was well over a foot away from the hole, so this I am not looking forward to very much, and this whole discovery erased all thoughts of Ramona Sky dressed up in a sexy nurses outfit!

I headed for Haadrin and as usual Tommy Resort was rocking. Popped up to FUBAR for a bit, where Alice was looking lovely as usual and Guy Fidelity was playing some good shit.
I lasted till about 6am on 8 bottles of water and 2 Singhas.
It seems once again we were the busiest on the beach.

I saw on Mike Picione’s Facebook he has now gone 2 weeks with ZERO alcohol, so well done to him!
I did it last year, and it was, and still is, my New Years resolution to give up alcohol totally. It’s just SO FUCKING HARD on this island though.
