I'm looking to hear from anyone who has done mobile grooming in a rural area. I live in a rural community no local groomer. We had a successful groomer who retired sold her business and the second owner didn't last. Both of my best markets are 30 miles away, but I still want to provide service to my own community. Most of our local commercial buildings in town that are available for rent need a lot of work. I have an opportunity on a Wag N Tails Van, but I'm just not sure I can get the fees I need to cover the driving expenses. I've also thought about offering a reduced rate for my local customers. Has anyone parked for the day at say a local vet or public area like a park?
