I love the Sephora Collection Pro Brush line. While they may be a bit of an investment, these brushes offer exceptional quality and softness along with some really innovative designs. Spring 2015 brings many new brushes as well as some new brush sets. I have three of the new Pro brushes to share with you today, and they are beauties.

The Sephora Collection Pro Contour Blender Brush #77 ($43 CAD/$ US) is an incredibly soft, yet firm, synthetic brush. It has a large curved shape that is ideal for contouring since it hugs your jawline, underlines your cheekbones, and outlines your forehead perfectly. The firmness allows targeted application while the brushes softness practically makes products blend themselves. The way I like to use the brush is to dip the thicker side of the brush into the product to just over the halfway mark across the surface of the brush for really natural and graduated results. For more impact  you would dip the whole head of the brush into your contour product of choice. The Pro Contour Blender Brush works great for powders and creams alike.

The Sephora Collection Pro Airbrush Blender Brush #78 ($48 CAD/$38 US) is an incredibly soft and dense synthetic brush that gives flawless foundation results. It’s pointed shape makes it possible to easily reach all of the areas of your face. It applies, blends, and buffs products gorgeously. The thing that made this brush really stand out for me was it’s ability to deposit foundation with almost no product absorption into the brush. No product wasted and I was able to achieve levels of coverage with sheerer formulas that I had not experienced before. All with a beautifully natural finish.

Sephora Collection Pro Lash Fan Brush #34 ($26 CAD/$21 US) This nifty little brush is a thing of many wonders. You may look at it at first and wonder why you would really need it but it has so many talents. It has soft but firm synthetic bristles that fan out at the end and are mounted on an ergonomically slanted handle. You can use this for getting liner right into the very base of your lashes with ease. It also works amazingly for applying mascara with perfect separation. While you may not want to take the time to apply your mascara to your upper lashes daily with this brush, it makes quick, natural application of mascara to your lower lashline effortless. It also makes a fantastic lash comb for separating your lashes and also to help fuse your false lashes to your natural ones.

Another great thing about the Sephora Collection Pro brushes is that they come packaged with a very sturdy plastic cover over the brush heads. These covers open and close via little latches and are reusable meaning you can hang on to them to protect your brushes during travel and storage.

An adorable, sleek, and portable set for eyes is the Sephora Collection Rosegold Eye Brush Capsule ($28 CAD/$22 US) This set features handles dipped in vibrant colors and soft, black bristles all in a rose gold capsule. Brushes included are: Angled shadow, Domed shadow, Small shadow, Angled liner, Smudge.

Sephora Collection Long Lashing: Countoured Eyelash Comb ($18 CAD/$14 US) Metal lash combs are a necessity. Those plastic ones just DO NOT WORK. This new release from Sephora is contoured and oriented vertically for a perfect fit. The handle is collapsible too!

Sephora Collection Sonic Airbrush Sponge ($31 CAD/$ US) This cute and funky battery operated tool gently vibrates to firmly buff and blend cream products into the skin with 12,000 tiny dabs per minute. The flexible non-latex sponge hugs the curves around the nose and eyes for instant, perfect application. I haven’t tried this yet because for some crazy reason I can’t find it since photographing it. I think given how neat it looks my daughter may have snuck off with it. If I find it and try it I will be sure to update!
