This week the Beauty Blogger Top Ten Team is sharing our Top 10 Drugstore Beauty Products. Drugstore makeup keeps getting better and better and there are even more amazing finds to be discovered at your local drugstore. Here are some of my new favourites.
Kiss Ever EZ Lashes ($6.47 CAD Double Pack/$12.94 CAD Multi Pack) – These incredibly affordable false lashes are premium quality made with 100% human hair. They have the ultra thin lash band for a natural look that is an absolute must for me when it comes to false lashes. They even come with a handy lash applicator! Available at Walmart.
Maybelline New York Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadows – ($8.99 CAD) Whether it be the original formula, metallic, or the new leather version these cream eyeshadows from Maybelline are a must. Excellent quality and all day waterproof wear. These make an incredible base for any eye look or look great worn on their own. These are a staple in both my pro kit and my personal stash.
Covergirl Ready, Set Gorgeous Fresh Complexion Oil Free Foundation – This foundation offers medium to full coverage that still looks remarkably natural. It has a lovely satin matte finish and wears all day. I can’t believe I’ve fallen head over heels for a drugstore foundation!
Maybelline New York Master Hi-Light Hi-Lighting Bronzer – These new(isn) Hi-Light products from Maybelline have the refined subtle shimmer you don’t see often enough in drugstore cosmetics. The inclusion of pink in this gorgeous weave patterned bronzer makes it an excellent choice for those with fair skin.
L’Oreal Paris Balm Pop ($9.99) – I love the convenience and hydration that tinted balms offer and these new bold hued versions from L’Oreal are fun and flirty. Available in 4 shades. Shown is Electric Pink.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Primer ($9.99 CAD) – Eye shadow primers are an absolute must for everyone in my opinion. I cringe at the thought of how many years I went with dull, fading, and creasing eye looks. This new release from L’Oreal offers excellent performance at a great price.
L’Oreal Paris Silkissime Eyeliner ($11.99 CAD) – I first raved about this eyeliner back in January and my love for it has not waned. Soft, smooth, insanely pigmented, and long wearing. I adore it. There are many more colours available now and I need to check them out!
Maybelline New York Dream Wonder Liquid Touch Foundation ($14.99 CAD) – Dry oil foundation are all the rage right now and it is now wonder with their sensual feel and beautiful finish. It all started with the luxurious Giorgio Armani Maestro but this new technology has made it’s way to the drugstore with the new Maybelline Dream Wonder foundation. If you’ve been nervous to try this kind of formula then you can skip the fancy packaging and try the new Maybelline version which has a beautiful texture, finish, and wear.
Maybelline New York Baby Lips Crystal ($4.99 CAD) – Who doesn’t love Baby Lips? Now with the addition of pretty shimmer in the new Baby Lips Crystal we can have our fix of moisture and colour with a hint of sparkle.
L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer ($14.99) – This illuminating and hydrating under eye concealer offers nice coverage with a very lightweight finish. I have been reaching for it regularly and even use it on minimal makeup days to conceal other areas of my face as well since I love the finish so much. It has a metal rollerball applicator that feels so nice and the plastic tube packaging is so travel friendly for touchups.
