It's an incredible honor to be one of the first to
drive and review a new BMW
vehicle and engine.  Recently, this honor
went to Jason Harper, a writer and lover of high-performance cars, while he was
representing Bloomberg.
He had the opportunity to test drive three different vehicles, each with
a new, green engine under its hood.

Harper had the pleasure of spending some quality
time in the driver's seat of the following BMW cars:

The brand's most popular sedan, the BMW
3-Series, redone with a diesel engine

The smallest SUV from the automaker, the BMW
X1, which has a four-cylinder engine

A concept car that packed a new three-cylinder
engine under its hood, which will most likely end up in the new BMW
i8 hybrid sports car

We can't wait to have these vehicles and engines
here at Performance BMW, ready for our customers in the greater
Raleigh area to test drive, because Harper found that while
each one was more conservative with its fuel usage, they still packed the
powerful punch that the brand's enthusiast have come to expect from the luxury automaker.  Often, when engines go green, they lose the
power that made them so much fun in the first place, and we're very relieved
that this doesn't appear to be the case here.

If you have any questions about these different
vehicles or any of the other new and used BMW
vehicles here at our 1810 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd.
Chapel Hill, NC 27514 location, don't hesitate to call us
at (888) 378-7991 or to stop by during regular business hours to speak with a
