Kate Walsh has always been pretty candid when it comes to kids.

Back in 2011, the beauty explained that she felt like a "loser" for not having children and, while she didn't want to raise them on her own, she had said she would "love to be a parent."

Sadly, the 48-year-old revealed that she won't be having babies -- at least not biologically -- because she's gone through early menopause.

The actress opened up about the discovery on Wednesday on SiriusXM, saying:

"I don't have children. I'm not going to have kids. I went through early menopause. That happened."

The California native admitted that she's not sure what triggered the premature onset, adding:

"Who knows why. It could be a product of our environment. The pill, we don't know."

The Grey's Anatomy alum was inspired to make an appointment after her older sister also went through menopause early. She admitted she was saddened by the results, explaining:

"It was bleak. But that was a great kind of experience and growth. I've always felt I've been, at times in my life, indecisive or have hard times making decisions. I go for what I want and I also embrace what's in front of me."

The Bad Judge star said she isn't sure how feasible it is for women to have killer careers AND be kick-ass parents, saying:

"I don't know if you can actually have it all. I think that is actually this American myth. I wouldn't call it a dream. I think it's a bit of a myth in that it's this huge pressure. We're like, ‘Wait a minute, am I less than if I'm not a mother? If I'm not a rock star in my career?' I don't know. I'm just rambling. This is what I ponder."

We're sad that Kate can no longer conceive children if she chooses, but there are always other ways to have kids if that's truly what she wants!
