Representatives from Vulcan Materials Company gathered at Red Mountain Park Aug. 4 for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the named-gift donation of the Park’s most popular Adventure attraction, the Vulcan Materials Zip Trip.

Randy Jones, Vulcan’s Area Operations Manager said the decision to support the Park was an easy one, saying, “Through Vulcan Materials Company, its Foundation, and employee involvement, we are proud to work closely, we are proud to work closely with Red Mountain Park in big and small ways. We are not only supporters of Red Mountain Park, we are also neighbors.”

“We are especially excited to celebrate the renaming of this great adventure attraction to the ‘Vulcan Materials Zip Trip. We hope many people near and far will enjoy the Park and its many features.”
