What Google® has done for map detail, HomeTownLocator.com(HTL) has done for neighborhood demographic detail. Anyone can zoom in on any specific address or location on HTL and see an amazing level of detail that is highly accurate and current.
Anyone can check out their neighborhood, or any, and zoom in on detail that goes as close as the Census Block Group, which is the smallest geographical unit used by the Census Bureau for reporting certain types of data. The Census Block Group is “generally defined to contain between 600 and 3,000 people”, according to the US Census Bureau.
The data is freshly updated. Current demographic updates along with forecasts for 2021 have just been released on July 1, 2016 and are now available on HTL.

How many housing units are there in a city, town, ZIP Code or Census Block Group? How many of them are Owner Occupied, Renter Occupied or Vacant? Also, what are the average home values and median home values in these same geographic subunits?
To find these answers, simply review the “Data & Demographics” section of any of the 29,296 Community Profiles in HomeTownLocator.com. 3. Political Subdivisions in Any Location
If one were to purchase a home at [enter Street Address, City and State], what political subdivisions would he or she be living in? What city, town, village, township, county and congressional district? What public schools serve that area?
To answer political subdivision questions, simply use the “Address Based Hyperlocal” Tool. These Neighborhood Data input forms are found on the homepage of each state gazetteer, on the first page of all 29,296 Community Profiles and on the home page forhttp://www.HomeTownLocator.com. When you input a specific address on one of these forms, you get reports and linked resources such as this example for Sherman, IL. You’ll also get a customized searchable map and a customized directory that are based on the geographic coordinates for the address.
HOW IS YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD CHANGING?
What is the population density, racial & ethnic diversity, and average household income in a local area? How many housing units are there? How many are owner occupied or rented, and what is the average home value?
