Course Overview
This course provides the fundamentals of BIM for MEPs, focusing on
concepts and principles of the core MEP products, and creating 3D
parametric models of MEP systems from engineering design through
construction documentation. It is recommended for those who are familiar
with MEP engineering and its terminologies. Those with prior working
knowledge, intending to validate their skills, will also find the course
an instructive progression to obtaining an Autodesk Certified User
status.

BIM overview and Revit terminology
User interface, Ribbon toolbars, browser navigation, menus and settings
Create View filters and Templates
Create, add and modify MEP systems, model elements and graphics, annotation, output and printing
Documentation, Tag Components, Ducts and items
Create, add and modify parameters in Schedules, Sheets, Texts and Dimensions
Project setup, Worksets and Worksharing
Mechanical modeling, Equipment, Air terminals, Supply Ducts and Fittings
Electrical modeling, Receptables, Panels, Circuits, Fixtures, Switches, Conduits, Cable Trays
Plumbing modeling, Piping, Fixtures, Equipment, Accessories and Plumbing system
Label Wiring Plans
