**Part Time Secondary World Language Specialist**

Pearson's K\-12 Learning Services organization is seeking a new member for our Specialist team\. We are looking for a part\-time World Language Specialist with deep content knowledge to join our sales team\. We are looking for a self\-starter with a passion for the content and the ability to drive educators \(at all levels\) to make the right decisions regarding learning outcome choices for students and teachers\.

You will be responsible for:

+ Achieving Southeast Region revenue targets

+ Developing and delivering winning presentations

+ Developing relationships with key K\-12 decision makers within the Region

+ Providing customer feedback to sales, product and marketing teams

+ Delivering Product Activation Trainings for new accounts

+ Providing professional development workshops at conferences

As a part\-time World Language Specialist, you will work in partnership with Account General Managers as a content specialist supporting the sales process for Pearson products, services and solutions respective to your portfolio in the Southeast Region\. You will enjoy the opportunity to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with school district decision makers in the Region and share your expertise in Pearson’s offerings, pedagogy, and the competitive environment\. You will partner directly with sales teams and product management to advance Pearson products, services and solutions\.

**Qualifications**

+ Deep knowledge and passion for learning in 6\-12 Education, Spanish/World Language Experience Highly Preferred

+ Academic experience and/or training in 6\-12 Spanish/World Language Experience Highly Preferred

+ Demonstrate the ability to deliver winning presentations in large and small groups

+ Experience in networking with district administrators and decision makers

+ Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education market is desirable

+ Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations for teachers, parents district administrators, superintendents, or adoption committees

+ Experience creating and conducting PowerPoint and/or Keynote presentations

+ College degree required with advanced degree or specialty related training is highly desirable

Skills

+ Ability to have pointed conversations with school districts in the area of 6\-12 World Languages

+ Highly skilled in influencing decision making in the K12 arena

+ Bilingual, highly preferred
