Summary: As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will be part of a dynamic sales organization that is responsible for growing and supporting business at Pearson School Systems (PSS). Included in this responsibility is promoting our solution to public and private school districts in an assigned territory and maintaining a positive, productive, professional attitude toward your prospects, clients, and co­workers. The Inside Sales Account Representative is responsible for revenue generation by identifying prospective customers through inbound and outbound calls, lead follow­up, creation and implementation of marketing campaigns and regional events, as well as attending tradeshows.

This is a home based, inside sales position.

# Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Account Representative must be proficient in qualifying leads, identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, presenting and explaining the benefits of the PowerSchool solution, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections, and closing sales. The Inside Sales Account Representative will mainly use online product demonstration tools as well as heavy outbound calling to drive sales. Some travel will be required in strategic situations.

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Using a solution sales approach to sell web ­based PowerSchool SIS products to K­12 schools.
* Managing and submitting monthly/quarterly forecasts against assigned and team quota.
* Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to customers via the Web
* Developing and executing marketing campaigns focusing on specific territory and product offerings in conjunction with Regional Marketing departments
* Being a positive member of a team environment while working independently to meet an aggressive quota.
* Serving as a liaison between customers and appropriate company departments including product management, finance, accounting, support and professional services

# Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

* Team player mindset with drive, conviction and positive energy.
* Undeterred prospecting skills utilizing high outbound call volume.
* Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
* Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory by positioning the competitive advantages of Pearson's PowerSchool SIS and related products.
* Ability to consistently gather feedback from education customers, and stay abreast of competitive offerings.
* A bachelors degree plus a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in technology sales.
* In depth knowledge of K12 market with experience calling on Technical Directors and school district Superintendents preferred.
