I recently wore this outfit to dinner with my in-laws to their country club (or my husband likes to refer to it as THE Club). I wasn’t feeling a dress (which is super weird for me) so I opted for these slim cropped pants and my new Forever 21 taupe turtleneck sweater, and I am so glad that I did. It was really cool that night and the sweater was perfect! I currently have a small obsession with chunky turtleneck sweaters. I have bought three this week (thank you Norstrom Sale!) and really, that’s all I want to wear. I love how they go with jeans and dress pants so easily and they are so warm and cozy at the same time. So be warned, you are going to be seeing a lot of these this winter! I am actually wearing one right now as I write this!

Ok, seriously, where did the weekend go! I really feel like it should still be Friday! We did so much running around and work on the house we didn’t get much down time. Which is what the weekends are for, right?! We did our bi-monthly trip to Costco (why do they have so much good stuff!) on Saturday morning, followed by a Norstrom run, which I am happy to report that I didn’t get anything for myself, just my husband. I am not going to lie, it was a very weird feeling, but I did have 3 boxes deliver this week, so I really I guess I did get something. I just missed carrying the bag.
Oh, and speaking of Costco, I saw that they have the most adorable UGG Shearling Ear Muffs there for $39, yes, really. Nordstrom has them for $65, and they are all about the price matching right now, so if you need these cuties, add them to your cart, then open an online chat and they will price adjust them for you – fabulous! I wish it got cold enough here for earmuffs, but it doesn’t and I would look silly walking around in the South with them on. So sad, because I really do love the gray ones!
