On Sunday, November 3rd, a five-member team of plastic surgeons and nurses from Bergamo, Italy crossed into Gaza to start a week of surgery on burned children at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The team was led by surgeon Dr. Enrico Robotti and included anesthesiologist Dr. Alberto Benigni, surgeon Dr. Bernardo Righi, OR nurse, Elisabetta Piazzalunga and British hand surgeon Dr. Yvette Godwin. The team have volunteered many times in the past for the PCRF.
