Cox first MSO to offer an all-in-one cloud delivered payment solution Cox Business has expanded its portfolio of business solutions with the addition of PayLeap, a cloud based merchant and card processing service via a strategic relationship with Acculynk.  The first MSO to offer a managed payment solution, Cox Business is rolling out the offering across its footprint based on a successful pilot. Almost all SMBs (small and medium sized businesses) process payments but don’t have the ability to integrate in-store, online and mobile payment processing in one managed service.  PayLeap equips businesses with an all-in-one suite of payment processing capabilities in a simple format with affordable pricing. This service will be offered to all 300,000 + Cox Business customers later this year. Cox Business has teamed up with Atlanta-based Acculynk to provide this cloud based service to customers. Acculynk’s platform delivers a full suite of secure payment solutions for many different processing environments and includes a patent-protected solution for online and mobile PIN debit transactions. “As our business customers embrace cloud delivered solutions to improve business performance, Cox Business will continue to bring the best of those to them – together with data, voice and video services,” said Asheesh Saksena, executive vice president and chief strategy officer, Cox Communications. “Most businesses collect payments and PayLeap is an industry leading, cloud delivered solution that offers SMBs an efficient, simple to use, cost saving alternative.” “Our previous payment provider wasn’t able to help us process payments online, but with PayLeap from Cox Business we can now do this easily.  Online, mobile and in-store processing in one solution has improved service to our customers and boosted our bottom line,” said Michael Hormozi, owner of MAK Cleaners in San Diego, a Cox Business customer and participant in the trial.  “Having this advanced technology available at an affordable price makes us look like a big business.” Included with PayLeap are gateway services and merchant services.  PayLeap merchant services also include PayLeap’s Growth Advantage Tools that are designed to help small businesses take advantage of additional sales channels, growth opportunities and time-saving technologies.  Additionally, Cox Business customers will have access to internet PIN debit, a PayLeap exclusive payment method that allows e-commerce merchants to steer consumers to PIN debit via PaySecure®, Acculynk’s online, graphical PIN pad. “This strategic relationship with Cox Business will provide businesses with tools to grow and strengthen their organizations,” said Nandan Sheth, president, Acculynk. “Cox Business customers will now have a one-stop solution for bundled services that allow them to aggressively manage transaction costs while getting the benefit of world-class customer service.” Cox Business provides voice, data and video services for more than 300,000 small and regional businesses, including healthcare providers, K-12 and higher education, financial institutions and federal, state and local government organizations.
