There are those who think that alkaline diets don’t matter, but alkaline diet also means “Whole Foods Plant Based Diets”… they are one and the same.

Lots of Veggies is the Key to Health

Some alkaline diets still have animal protein in them, but animal protein creates acid… and because of that they are not true alkaline diets.

Having an alkaline system leads to less inflammation and studies show that inflammation is one of the major causes of disease.

Eating a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet means the following:

Cancer – Whole Foods Alkaline Diets have a much lower chance of coming down with cancer. See the movie “Forks Over Knives” you can watch it for free on-line if you google it.

There is even the China Study that was done by Dr. Campbell looking at people who at plant based diets and cancer – his findings were that the more veggies a person consumes (Alkaline Foods) the less probability of coming down with cancer, thus prolonging life as much 20%.

A study at Oxford over 13 years with 11,000 people showed that those who ate Whole Foods Alkaline Diets had 1/3 less heart disease and cancer.

Disease – And those who eat plant based diets have less disease in general… even up to 40% less in some studies.

Dr. John Furhman says – “Multiple studies have shown that vegetarians live longer than non-vegetarians do. The research shows those who avoid meat and dairy have lower rates of heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity, which are the leading causes of death in America.”

Inflammation – Whole Foods Alkaline Diets are anti-inflammatory and thus help to keep away heart disease, strokes, cancer and just about all diseases in general including arthritis, autoimmune disease, and much more.

Obesity – Whole Foods Alkaline Diets have been confirmed to control obesity and thus preventing metabolic syndrome and prolonging life.

Reduces Allergies – There are studies showing that those who partake of Whole Foods Alkaline Diets are less prone to come down with allergies. Animal products create leukotrienes which create allergy symptoms… and thus Whole Foods Alkaline Diets reduce allergies.

Diabetes – Studies show that Whole Foods Alkaline Diets prevent diabetes and also metabolic syndrome which causes disease. Check out “Simply Raw” on youtube it shows how eating a raw plant based diet cures diabetes.

Many doctors eat plant based diets… in fact Dr. Neal Barnard is a vegetarian and a leading proponent of a plant-based diet.

Probiotics – Studies show that Whole Foods Alkaline Diets provide lots of great fiber which promotes the growth of probiotic bacteria… that boost the immune system thus preventing disease. That also means there is a much lower incidence of colon cancer among those who partake of a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet.

Osteoporosis – Studies show that those who eat a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet are less likely to come down with Osteoporosis.

Heart Disease – Here is what the American Heart Association says about Whole Foods Alkaline Diets – “Most vegetarian diets are low in or devoid of animal products. They’re also usually lower than non-vegetarian diets in total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol. Many studies have shown that vegetarians seem to have a lower risk of obesity, coronary heart disease (which causes heart attacks), high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus and some forms of cancer.”

Former President Clinton who had heart bypass decided to follow a whole foods plant based diet by Dr. Dean Ornish… who talks about reversing heart disease completely with a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet.

Dr. Cauldwell Esselstyn a well know cardiovascular surgeon has shown that a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet can complete reverse cardiovascular disease.

Depression and Anxiety – Studies show that those who partake of a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet also have less depression and anxiety.

Antioxidants – Whole Foods Alkaline Diets are full of powerful antioxidants which help to prevent disease and prolong life according to the University of Colorado… and there is a lots of evidence that antioxidants prevent cancer.

Kidneys - Those who partake of a Whole Foods Alkaline Diets have a lower incidence rate kidney failure. Diets high in animal protein or even veggie protein is not good for the kidneys… and that’s why the 5 or 6 percent low protein Whole Foods Alkaline Diet is great for the kidneys. The average Western diet full of lots of animal protein can do extensive damage to our kidneys.

Dr. John Mcdougall a specialist in diet and kidney health says the following – “The human body needs no more than 5% of the calories consumed to be from protein in order to build all cell structures, enzymes and hormones; once these needs are met then the excess must be excreted from the body. The typical Western diet, focused as it is on meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products, is loaded with protein; as a result, many people consume a diet with 30% or more of the calories from protein.”

Lupus – It has been shown that Whole Foods Alkaline Diets help to prevent Lupus. British comedian Gina Yashere completely cured her lupus using a raw foods diet of fruits and veggies.

Blood Pressure – Those who partake of a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet also have very low incidents of high blood pressure… and that is one of the leading killers of the American public. A study in JAMA Internal Medicine journal shows that eating a vegetarian diet does lower blood pressure.

MS – It’s been found that those who partake of Whole Foods Alkaline Diets also have very little Multiple Sclerosis compared to the average public.

Great Diet – Here is what the American Dietetic Association said about vegan diets…“Properly planned vegan diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases….are appropriate for individuals during all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and for athletes.” — American Dietetic Association Volume 109

More Calcium – Lots of people think they need lots of calcium and that’s right… but most people don’t know that most of the calcium in milk is not absorbed. But calcium from plants like brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage and other green veggies is absorbable, in fact 3 times more absorbable… thus you get a lots of calcium from green veggies.

Iron – Iron is important but from plant based sources that don’t cause health problems. Did you know that chai seeds contain 2.4 times the amount of iron found in beef? It’s True! Plants have lots of iron – 100 grams of spinach has the same amount of iron as a 100 grams of beef.

Protein – The USDA says we need at least 20% protein in our diet, but studies show that we only need 5 or 6% protein in our diet… and that’s exactly what a person gets from a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet. All that excess protein causes cancer and kidney disease.

There are even body builders who eat a Whole Foods Alkaline Diet… google for vegan body builders. And there are lots of vegan protein powders on the market now because people are in demanding them.

B-12 – Some people say that Whole Foods Alkaline Diets lack vitamin B-12, but a study done giving rats Chlorella and Spirulina algae made rats thrive. And the amounts of B-12 vitamin in their blood went up drastically… proving Chlorella and Spirulina contain great amounts of bio available vitamin B-12. But if you’re worried about not getting enough B-12 take a supplement.

Even Edgar Cayce the renowned psychic recommended alkaline diets… and he healed countless people of all kinds of disease.
