Congratulations to Mr. Phil Patire, iSupport Foundation’s executive director and iLearn School’s education consultant, who served as a school principal at Lodi’s Columbus Elementary School between the years of 1981-2002. Columbus Elementary first opened its doors in September 1917 and the school has celebrated its 100th year of operation last Monday.
Throughout the 100 years, the school has had only four core principals — Ethel Manford-Matthews (1921-1963), Frank Salupo (1963-1980), Phil Patire (1981-2002) and current principal Vincent DiChiara, starting in 2002. We wish Mr. Patire many more years of service and success in public education.
