During the Conception Stages of the Software Development Cycle,
the Sr. Software Engineer is involved of all the Technological Aspects,
including involvement in the proof of concept. Once the Project begins, the Sr.
Software Engineer is responsible for the Designing and Development of the
Application; Integration; and Implementation. The Sr. Software Engineer provides
guidance to the application developers, reviewing code, integrating the
application modules for system testing, and ensuring that the standards are
followed. Is customer service focused, with good
communications skills, a self starter, self supervised and has good influencing
and strong leadership skills.
The role requires technical leadership, excellent communications skills,
and effective interaction as a team player on large, cross-team initiatives.
Job Requirements:
BS Degree in CS or related
field
At least 7 yrs experience in software design and
development
5+ years experience in
J2EE environments
Proficiency in the Design
Cycle
Overall understanding of
Development Models and Architecture
Experience developing
framework/reusable components using J2EE and related technologies
Ability to provide
technical direction to a team of talented developers
Expert
level knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, Servlets, Struts
Framework, JSP, EJB, Java Script, HTML, XML, Oracle.
Knowledge
of SOA and/or MQ-Series is a plus
Excellent Knowledge of database
technologies and interfaces
Understanding of Network
infrastructure (HTTP, TCP, DNS, Load-balancers)
