Resort 2015 has brought to Parlour X an exclusive range of classic bags as well as unique selections from the world’s most creative and distinguished designers in high-end fashion.

In Balenciaga there is the Classic Town Arena and the Classic Velo Arena, both classically sophisticated pieces for the twenty first century woman. The Le Dix Cartable S AJ and the Le Dix Zip Cartable S. AJ, from the line inspired by the Balenciaga flagship boutique on 10 Avenue George V in Paris, embodies European femininity and refinement. The Balenciaga Resort 2015 bags can best be described in one word: classic.

The Celine bags in Resort 2015 explore summer through colour and lightness. The Trapeze bags in Souris, Black and Bright Orange, have become the ideal everyday bag for the sophisticated summer lover, as seen on Nicole Ritchie and Kim Kardashian. The Tie Knot Phantom Bag Medium in black is perfect for the woman on the go and has been a favourite of Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Alexa Chung.

The Trio bag, however, has been the star of the season in bags, starting somewhat of an epidemic in summer fashion. The Trio bag in Indigo is the light and compact ideal summer bag for all the essentials, and can be dressed to any outfit for any occasion. The stunning piece can be seen on prominent fashion blogs.

Chloe bags have remained classic and compact with the Porte Main Everston bags in factory blue and black, the ultimate feminine piece that embodies a typical Chloe lover’s style. The Porte Epaule Drew DB Carry Bag emphasises prettiness and femininity with its circular shape and consolidated look, while still maintaining smartness and sophistication.

The Issey Miyake Bao Bao collection has brought an explosion of colour, playfulness and pure individuality to Parlour X this season. With bags inspired by Japanese technology both in design and functionality, the Bao Bao collection has been popular with the world’s most fashionable elite.

The Lucent Pro 1- Large Matte Bag in black is a sophisticated addition to any look. It embodies modernity and style and is best adapted to a nighttime or daytime monochrome look. The Lucent-1 Medium bag in yellow and green is a smaller bag to fit all the essentials of a summer’s day and is a playful addition to any outfit. Like the majority of its Bao Bao counterparts, the Lucent Medium bag emphasises functionality as it lies flat when not in use, and has flexible movement to adjust to what is inside, therefore emphasising comfort and spatiality when worn.  There is also the Lucent Pro-2 Large Bag in yellow and green, for those with a few more essentials. The Lucent-1 Pouch, also in yellow and green, caters to the bare necessities and is a playful little piece for girls on the run. The Lucent Basics small bag, however, has been the most coveted off the collection.

The Platinum-1 Chain bag in black still features the geometric triangle shaped design as the other Bao Bao bags, with the addition of a chain strap to emphasise nighttime glamour. It is the ideal night out purse that is light, compact and flexible. The Prism Basics Medium Bag in white and black is also the perfect accessory to cater to any outfit with either a matte or metallic finish. It also comes in the Prism Basics small clutch in black or white for even more compact style.

Jerome Dreyfuss brought a little bit of colour and a lot of fun to the season, with 70s-inspired bags that reflect the charismatic personality of the designer himself. The Gary collection features a new twist on the bucket bag, portraying a bohemian meets oh-so chic lifestyle. The Gary bag is grunge and contemporary that features leather ties on its sides and a serpent chain drawstring, and comes in red calfskin, goatskin mustard and calfskin black.  The Gary bag also comes in a smaller counterpart in colours of mustard, orange and emerald green, displaying Jerome Dreyfuss’ infusion of warm summer sunlight shades.

The Martin calfskin bag is a sophisticated, medium-sized baguette bag. It exudes Parisian style in its simple elegance, but also represents typical Jerome Dreyfuss practicality in its adjustable gold serpent chain, which allows the handbag to be worn at two different lengths. The bag comes in navy and black and features a double leather flap with inset mirror.

The Edouard in black, green, navy and mustard indulges in every woman’s nostalgic side as it is designed in the style of a childhood school bag. Understated and sophisticated, it is a highly versatile and functional piece for everyday use.

The staple must-have Jerome Dreyfuss bag, however, is the Bobi. Daytime or nighttime, this baguette bag turns heads wherever it goes. It has an adjustable chain strap and is elegant, sophisticated and chic to transition easily between day-to-night outfits. The Bobi bags this season feature in calfskin black, bottle green, navy, grey, grey leopard and mustard goatskin.

Lastly for a more casual Jerome look, there is the irresistible Igor crossbody that features the ideal balance between size and interior volume – perfect for urban adventurers. It has four points of adjustment and is the ideal stylish travel companion that will never leave your side. The Igor comes in goatskin mustard and grey and leopard grey calfskin.

Proenza Schouler this season maintains its minimal elegance and simplicity with the compact and sophisticated PS11 Classic black bag and PS11 Mini Classic biscotti bag, both with gold hardware. They are the perfect, lightweight bags for the fashionable, working woman.

Saint Laurent glamour is definitely not void in Resort 2015 bags. The Cassandre line is featured in staple Nero, with the large bag displaying silver hardware and a tassle, and the small Cassandre bag coming in two variations of silver hardware and tassle, and gold hardware with no tassle.

For a subtler YSL addition, there is the nero prochette pouch with a handle, that comes in variations of gold hardware, or fake croc design with silver hardware. In smaller size ranges, there is the Wallet Chain Bag in black and the thin “man style” wallet for a sporty and sophisticated high-fashion accessory. All the Saint Laurent bags feature the classic YSL monogramme.

Like Jerome Dreyfuss, Stella McCartney is also playful with her bags in Resort 2015, while still maintaining glamorous elegance in her choice of colour.  The Big Tote bag is a classic everyday piece that is stylish, flexible and comfortable. Its Small Tote counterpart is for the woman with less essentials but just as much style and comes in plain black as well as python effect black. There is also the mini tote in black, which adds extra glam to any outfit – ideal for the woman on the run.

Nostalgia seems to also be a common theme with Jerome and Stella, with Stella McCartney’s school-style mini backpacks featuring in black, pearl and navy. The metallic colour waves of these uniquely designed backpacks make them easily transitional from day-to-night and can be worn formally or casually. The Zipped Clutch and purses, however, accurately reflect Stella McCartney’s lighter mood in Resort 2015, displaying the uniquely characterized Canary design for a playful accessory to a summer’s outfit, as does the red I-Phone 5 Mouth case.

Last but not least for Resort 2015 bags at Parlour X, there is the stunning Valentino rockstud story. The Medium Tote in smooth light cuir or black features rockstud outlining on the front face and is the pinnacle of modern sophistication with attitude. The Va Va Voom shoulder bag in black adds even more standout glamour in typical Valentino fashion as does the Large Tote bag that is perfect for the travelling fashionable woman. The Large Tote bag is uniquely reversible to be either black or light cuir, catering for the changing outfits of the on-the-go woman. Departing from the rockstud story, and bringing in the 70s inspired trends of the new season is the fringe clutch that is a stylishly playful piece for a summer’s night or day.
