Randi Ferryman, Kindergarten Teacher

Welcome (back) to Ms. Ferryman! Ms. Ferryman is not new to Parkview but is (kind of) new to Early Childhood. She will be coming in full time to teach Kindergarten after filling in for a maternity leave last year. Ms. Ferryman has her BS in Elementary Education from SELU and is a proud PBS Class of 2007 alum. She attends Healing Place Church and has been BFF’s with Jeana Streete, her fellow Kindergarten teacher, since they met in Mrs. Lyle’s PBS Kindergarten class in 1994!

Let’s get to know Ms. Ferryman a little better.

What made you want to come to Parkview? I loved my experiences as a student as well as a teacher. Parkview isn’t just a school where students go to learn or a workplace where teachers go to teach; Parkview is a family.

What is your favorite snowball flavor? Strawberry Cheesecake-Stuffed

What is your favorite movie of all time? Steel Magnolias.

Why is Christian education important?  Christian education is important because it provides students with a strong foundation in God and His Word and guides students toward an understanding that God is at the center of all things. Christian education also helps students to recognize their unique, God-given gifts so they can go and be a light in the world.

If you could only take three things to a desert island, what would you take? Beach Chair, Music and an endless supply of Cane’s lemonade.

What is your favorite Bible verse? “God’s love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, his verdicts oceanic. Yet in his largeness nothing gets lost; Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks.” Psalm 36:5-6

Feel free to send Ms. Ferryman an email and welcome her to the Eagle family! randi.ferryman@parkviewbaptist.com
