Three college-aged Park City locals came home for the holidays with a goal in mind.  Brothers Riley and Jonas Peek, along with their friend Adam Eisenbarth, had been scheming about how to complete the Park City Conqueror EpicMix Challenge since Thanksgiving break.

To complete the Park City Conqueror challenge, participants must ride every lift at Park City Mountain in a single day.

“The night before we were looking at the trail map and wrote down all of the lifts in exactly what order we wanted to do them,” Jonas says.

In the EpicMix app, there are 14 challenges to compete in at Park City and more throughout all Vail Resorts.  The challenges range in difficulty, the length of time to compete, and task.  Some challenges are be completed by riding skiing a certain number of chairlifts in a day and others require skiing or snowboarding a high number of vertical feet in an entire season.

Riley, Jonas, and Adam finished the Park City Conqueror challenge when they realized that they were also close to completing the Stratosphere challenge, earned by skiing 40,000 vertical feet in a day at a single resort.  They skied into night skiing to complete their second challenge of the day.

“We were born and raised in Park City so we have skied all of the lifts at some point or another, but that day was probably the most skiing that I’ve ever done in one day,” Jonas admits.

To try any of the Park City Mountain or Vail Resorts challenges, download the EpicMix app for free onto any iOS or Android phone.  Register with your Epic Pass or Epic Day Ticket number and compete with friends and family by sharing on Facebook and Twitter!
