I am absolutely obsessed with making handmade wreaths for my each holiday and season for my home. With my kiddos helping me, I have been having a lot of fun the past few months picking out supplies from the dollar store. Every summer, I decorate my living room with red, white, and blue lights from Memorial Day through Labor Day. After discovering that plastic tablecloths work extremely well to create fluffy wreaths, I set to work making another red, white, and blue wreath that I also adorned with a belled door knob hanger.
Materials
Wire wreath
Red, white, and blue plastic tablecloths
Patriotic door knob hanger
Red ribbon
Blue thread
Needle
Scissors
Instructions
Cut the tablecloths into 5 inch by 1 inch strips.
Tie the tablecloth strips around the wires of the wreath. Push the strips closely together. Alternate sections of red, white, and blue.
After coving the wire wreath with the tablecloth strips, tie a piece of red ribbon around the back top and knot.
Sew the patriotic door knob hanger to the bottom center of the wreath.
Display the red, white, and blue wreath.
