On a visit to Bergen Community College with Mukesh Malkan, we met with Dr. Kaye Walker and a few members of her staff. Mukesh donated to the college two checks, one for $1,000.00 from the Indian Americans of Paramus Foundation and one for $250.00 from the Paramus Sunrise Rotary Foundation. Both were graciously accepted and most of it earmarked for their student food pantry. The economy has affected quite a few Bergen Community College students who are hanging on to their education goal by a very thin margin and this will help them.
