How much will my Debenhams delivery cost?
A standard delivery from Debenhams takes five working days and costs £3.49, however you can avoid this charge by making sure your basket tots up to over £40.
For next day or nominated day delivery you will have to shell out £3.99 or if you want your package in the evening of the next day or a nominated day it will set you back £6.99.
Orders of over £20 can be collected from the stores with their Click Collect service for free, but there is a £2 charge for Click Collect for purchases under £20.
– Be sure to double check the prices on your sale items before rushing to click “check out”
– Debenhams stock a number of brands which are exclusive to them, so if you have picked a product from one of those ranges you can be quite sure that you won’t be able to get it anywhere else cheaper unless you are willing to shop second hand on auction sites
– You may, however, be able to find cheaper equivalents on other sites if you do a quick search of the specification of the item e.g. if you like a butterfly by Matthew Williamson dress you could type “black cocktail dress” to Google and check out similar items on rival sites like ASOS and House of Fraser
– For the branded items like electricals and beauty products make sure you check the major supermarkets and Boots to be sure that you aren’t missing out on a better deal elsewhere
– The rule this Black Friday is to question everything and make sure you’ve done your research before heading to the tills!
Other ways to save cash at Debenhams this Black Friday
Smart shoppers will be snapping up additional savings in the Black Friday sale using voucher codes to maximise the reductions.
VoucherCodes.co.uk are offering 10% off orders at Debenhams using the code TR32 while you can also claim free delivery on beauty orders by using the code SHA5 when you check out.
Applying for a Debenhams credit card will also open up 10 per cent discounts on all shopping for a week from when the account is set up – although we only suggest doing this if you are certain you will be able to pay it off.
For those who want to gather some benefits without opting for a credit card, the Debenhams Beauty Club gives customers the opportunity to collect points, earning 3 points for every £1 they spend.
Points can then be spent on beauty brands and save you cash on future purchases.
