Hello beauties...
Uff! this heat seems to be taking on to me ! Actually, it's not the heat. But its some stupid people who think they are the most intelligent ones on this planet, although they may not even know the spelling of intelligence. I am really bugged .... and no, this isn't my reaction to India's defeat. I prefer taking cricket like a sport than exhibiting my patriotism through it.
Anyways, since summers are around, time to flaunt our matte lipsticks... And this year, Loreal came out with not one or two, but different hues of reds in a lovely matte finish. I am in absolute love with Loreal's mattes and ever since this new collection, Pure Reds, was launched, I have been eyeing two of the shades.
But somehow, both were always out of stock whenever I wanted to buy them. But recently, thanks to my lovely Appu of Get Set Blush, I managed to grab one of the shades and now, am just basking in its love.

On the Outside
L'Oreal always tops with its classy packaging. Since this collection is endorsed by L'Oreal ambassadors, it has been signed by them. Classy black packaging with a small window showing the colour and autograph of Sonam Kapoor, the celeb endorsing this shade. It couldn't have been any better. The shade name is also mentioned in the bottom.

On the Inside
I like the fact that L'oreal decided to come out with different shades of red keeping in mind the different skin tones. Pure Garnet is a shade that can suit all skin tones, but medium to dusky women will rock it for sure. Pure Garnet is a deep plummish red that looks absolutely flattering on the lips. It does make the lips look a little thinner. In the bullet, it looks heavy with brown undertones but on the lips, the plum overtones reflect brightly. The texture is matte still it is easy to apply. It settles into a nice matte in 15 minutes and stays like on-and-on. However, after 5 hours, it starts to fade unevenly which looks weird and needs to be reapplied.

Umm! Since price is a bit of a con for those who want to be on a budget, I will give this classy lipstick a 4.9 out of 5.

The Loreal Paris Pure Red lipstick in Pure Garnet is a beautiful shade indeed and will suit all complexions. It's got an amazing texture that is matte yet not very drying. If you can fit this one in your budget, then do buy atleast one from this range.
