ILOILO City – It’s all systems go for the opening salvo of the 2015 Dinagyang Festival tomorrow.

The salvo around the downtown area starts at 3 p.m.

The public is advised of road closures.

Nine tribes will showcase samples of their performances.

The dry-run of the four-hour parade will snake through major streets.

The carousel-type parade will cover Mapa Street to Freedom Grandstand / JM Basa – F. Caram Avenue turn left to General Luna Street, turn left to Mabini Street, turn left to Delgado Street, turn right to Quezon Street, turn left to Ledesma Street, turn right to Iznart Street and turn left to Rizal Street, then turn left back to Mapa Street.

The performance areas include:

* Freedom Grandstand (Stage 1)

* Iloilo Provincial Capitol (Stage 2)

* Delgado-Mabini Streets (Stage 3)

* Quezon-Ledesma Streets (Stage 4), and

* Iznart Street (Stage 5).

This year’s celebration tagline is, “Sum it up to the top!”

The festival theme is “Senor Santo Niño: Hope of the Poor.”
