RECYCLING ARTISTS        Ages 5-9

Class focuses on making art pieces with recycled materials and found objects in nature. Each child takes home a work of art at the end of every class.  Register in advance by a parent/guardian.

Shelly Isaacs, founder of Café Cinematheque screens award winning movies, and follows with a  brief discussion and Q&A session.  Enjoy both classic and contemporary films across many genres.

HAPPY SUNSHINE YOGA FOR KIDS & TEENS        Ages 7-16

Learning challenging and creative poses can be fun as kids and teens are taught through games, music, and art.  Instructor Lillian Murray helps to build physical strength as well as confidence in a playful class experience.

LITTLE SUNSHINE’S MOMMY & ME YOGA            Ages 3-6

Expose your younger child to the benefits of basic poses and breathing exercises.  Instructor Melinda Murray creates a class setting where children build balance and coordination skills, muscle tone, and body awareness.

KINDERMUSIK WITH MISS CATHY            Ages 4 & under

Maestro Cathy Hazard walks children through the introductory levels of song, dance, and instruments.  Rhythm and melody are taught in a fun and positive way that will get your child excited about learning and understanding all avenues of music.

DOCNIGHTS AT THE WILLOW MY RUN After the death of his wife, Terry Hitchcock, father of three, accomplished the impossible: running 2,000 miles in 75 days in order to publicize the daily struggle and the need for compassion for single-parent families. Subject of the film, Terry Hitchcock, will be present. Narrated by Academy Award Winner Billy Bob Thornton.  This film is part of the DocMiami International Film series. Enjoy exclusive access to the park “after hours”, including carousel rides and the Children’s Science Explorium, art activities, photo souvenirs, glitter tattoos and more.  Sound modifications, limited registrations and a quiet room will be available.
