These nut-free recipes use plenty of other healthy ingredients like coconut flour and sunflower seed butter to make the best flavors and textures without common allergens.

1. Nut Free Trail Mix

Paleo trail mixes and granolas are usually made mostly from nuts, since they obviously won’t contain oats an other typical components. So what about when you need it to be nut-free? This fabulous nut-free trail mix works as granola too, and is made with seeds, fruits, and coconut.

2. Paleo Birthday Cake

This delicious chocolate birthday cake is made without the usual almond flour. Instead, it’s made mostly with coconut flour and cacao powder, which protein-rich eggs used to stabilize it. Coconut oil and honey give this cake a lovely richness and moist sweetness.

3. Mango Muffins With Coconut Lime Streusel

These awesome muffins have a tropical flair to them, and are great as a breakfast, snack, or even a lighter dessert. You’ll need shredded coconut, flaxseed meal, fresh mango, lime, vanilla, coconut flour, and other ingredients. For a nut-free version, not that the macadamias are optional.

4. Pumpkinseed Flour Cookie Dough Bites

Looking for something chewy, fudgy, and sweet? These beautiful green bites are made mostly with raw pumpkin seeds, which are rich in vitamins and minerals, especially magnesium. They’re lightly sweetened with stevia and raw honey and flavored with vanilla.

5. Nut-Free Chocolate Birthday Cake

This modest but delicious chocolate cake is covered with a honey-sweetened chocolate glaze and filled with sweet apricot jam. Coconut milk makes it nice and rich, while a small amount of honey sweetens the whole recipe.

6. Paleo Chocolate Chip Scones

I love a good scone, and let me tell you, this is a good scone. The ingredients are simple, with eggs, coconut oil, stevia, coconut flakes, coconut flour, psyllium husk (a fiber-rich binding agent), and chopped dark chocolate. These are almost sugar-free, which makes them great for breakfast even if you usually avoid “sweet” breakfast foods.

7. Big Soft Paleo Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Nut flours are popular in paleo cookies because of the fabulous texture they create, so it can be tricky to find nut-free cookie recipes that are soft and chewy. These cookies are the perfect ticket, with coconut sugar, honey, and sunflower butter or other smooth seed butter.

8. Paleo Gingersnap Mini Donuts

I love donuts, and I especially love donuts I don’t have to feel guilty about snacking on or eating for breakfast occasionally. These healthier paleo donuts have a rich gingersnap flavor and are made from a base of coconut flour, cassava flour, and coconut milk.

9. Gingerbread Hempseed Thumbprint Cookies

These delicious little thumbprint cookies are made with a modest amount of sweetener and filled with a dollop of chocolate. I’m a huge fan of seedy cookies because they’re heartier and I don’t eat as many, but I still feel satisfied. These would be a fun lunchbox treat, I bet!

10. Panna Cotta With Strawberry Chia Jam

Want a dessert that’s nut-free but isn’t a baked good? Try this awesome panna cotta made smooth with almond or coconut milk and sweetened with pure maple syrup. Top it with sweet and fruity strawberry chia jam, or another favorite flavor. You could eat this for both breakfast and dessert, if you want!

11. Chocolate Mousse Parfaits

You don’t need nutty paleo granolas to make parfaits. Try this version with seeds, Medjool dates, cinnamon, shredded coconut, and a chocolate mousse made with avocado and coconut cream. You’ll love all the healthy fats in this recipe, and the yummy banana sweetness, too!

12. Cardamom Spiced Ginger Cookies

I love a good crackly-top ginger cookie during the holiday season, and adding a touch of cardamom gives this batch an interesting twist that you won’t quite be able to put your finger on. They’re made with a base of tapioca and coconut flours. No nuts!

13. Purple Sweet Potato Gnocchi With Sauce

Many paleo pasta or pasta-like recipes use nut flours to get the right flavors and textures. Not this one! These gnocchi are made with purple sweet potato mash, arrowroot starch, and a luscious, silky tahini sauce flavored with minced garlic and parsley.

14. Pumpkin Roll Cake

My brother-in-law makes awesome pumpkin rolls, but of course they’re loaded with oodles of refined sugar and white flour. This year, maybe I’ll make myself a healthier version with this arrowroot and coconut flour pumpkin roll, filled with a dairy free maple frosting.

15. Monster Mint Sandwich Cookies

These simple sandwich cookies are beloved by children and adults alike. They’re made with coconut flour and plenty of butter (or ghee), and filled with a coconut butter minty filling colored green with vitamin-and-mineral-rich spinach! If you don’t tell about the greens in the frosting, I won’t tell either.

16. Fudgy Paleo Brownies

These yummy brownies are not for those who like their brownies cakey (who even are these people? I don’t know any). They’re made with plenty of coconut oil and cocoa powder and sweetened with honey. Add a touch of espresso powder to enhance the flavors.

17. Maple Sriracha Roasted Pepitas

Roasted nuts are awesome, but when you can’t eat nuts, roasted seeds are even MORE awesome. These maple sriracha roasted pepitas are both spicy and sweet with hints of cinnamon and black pepper. They’re perfectly packable and snackable, and once you start eating them, you won’t be able to stop.

18. Nut-Free Cookie Dough Balls

These yummy cookie dough balls are made with sunflower seed butter, ground golden flaxseed, coconut flour, stevia, vanilla, and raw cacao paste. They’re loaded with superfoods and are sugar-free since they’re sweetened with stevia. If you can’t get cacao paste, just use chocolate chips.

19. Zucchini Hummus

Hummus is a much-beloved garbanzo bean dip that is, unfortunately, not paleo-friendly. Some alternative recipes use nuts to get the right texture, but this recipe uses zucchini to make a creamy dip that’s brimming with tahini, garlic, fresh ginger, and olive oil.

20. Cassava Blender Brownies

Making brownies in your blender helps keep the mess under control, and it minimizes the number of dishes you’ll have to do afterwards. It’s also super fun! These brownies blend up with coconut oil, cacao powder, ample syrup, coconut sugar (in place of sucanat) and more.

21. Nut Free Chocolate Granola

This decadent chocolate granola is perfect for breakfast or snacks, or even a yummy dessert. You’ll need coconut oil, coconut chips, sunflower, chia, and pumpkin seeds, along with vanilla, cinnamon, and cacao. Replace the puffed millet with additional seeds.

22. Paleo Gingersnap Cookies

These easy cookies are both chewy in the middle and crispy around the edges, which is the best of both cookie worlds. They’re sweetened with coconut sugar and maple syrup, along with blackstrap molasses, ginger, and a host of other amazing flavors.

23. Peppermint Hearts

These yummy, melty hearts remind me of a certain chocolate-covered minty cream candy that’s especially good in the freezer in the summer, but is definitely not paleo or even remotely as healthy for you as these little peppermint heart candies are!

24. Lemon Olive Oil Chocolate Banana Bread

Think of how magical all these flavors are together! And then take a look at that heavenly banana bread with chocolate and a sweet lemon glaze poured over the top of it. Good thing you can make this without any nuts involved!

25. Paleo Morning Glory Muffins

These muffins are totally full of nutritious ingredients like shredded carrots, applesauce, and full fat coconut milk. They make a deliciously hearty breakfast muffin you don’t have to feel guilty about eating, and they’re completely nut-free to boot!

26. Paleo Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes

Sometimes you just need a cupcake. I’m a sucker for fruity flavored desserts even though I do love chocolate and vanilla, so I’m excited to share these cupcakes. They’re made with a coconut flour base and sweetened gently with maple syrup. Yum!

27. Grain Free Banana Granola

I love the idea of adding mashed banana to granola because it allows you to reduce the added sweetened content, and it also caramelizes so nicely and, of course, adds a sweet banana flavor that perfectly complements the sunflower seeds, coconut, flax seeds, and cinnamon.

28. Edible Cookie Dough For Two

You know the feeling. You’re bored and your mouth wants something delicious, or maybe you just finished a workout and your body wants something calorie-dense. For those moments, try this edible cookie dough with mini chocolate chips and grass-fed butter or ghee.

29. Paleo Vanilla Mug Cake

These mug cakes are a fashionable trend, and for good reason. You rarely need a whole cake to satisfy the craving, and this very-vanilla cake will do the trick with pure maple syrup, coconut or almond milk, coconut flour, and melted butter or ghee.

30. Paleo Chunky Monkey Ice Cream Pops

These ice cream pops are made with bananas, coconut milk, sunflower seed butter, dark chocolate, coconut oil, and sunflower seeds. You’ll get all that creamy ice cream along with the chunky monkey effect, but not a single nut in sight!
