It was a good show put up by a person named Emad Khalid yesterday during a long press conference telecast in full live by the GEO television network. The choreography and direction was bad, content was explosive and Emad tried to evoke religious, political, ethnic and all kinds of emotions among public, military, politicians, and judges against Zaid Hamid, Mubashar Lucman, and ARY TV network.
As was expected Mubashar Lucman did a retaliatory talk show playing some alleged audio tapes between Emad Khalid and the officials of GEO TV planning something and about some arrangements. As much the useless, funny and worthless the press conference was, same worthless the talk show of Mubashar Lucman was.
I have always thought that there is undue importance being given to this clown Zaid Hamid and this unethical anchor Mubashar. In fact, in reality, they all are pawns. Yes, Mubashar Lucman, Zaid Hamid, Hamid Mir and all those involved are mere horses in the race which are being pitied against each other by the masters, who are the ugly rich media tycoons of GEO and ARY.
They are so cheap that they even implicated chief of army staff General Kayani, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Prime Minister and other big names in their fight and alleged that there is some hit list and blah blah blah. They even resorted to cheap shots like hitting below the belt and questioning religious beliefs.
This is all fight and greed for more power and money. Its all about their fat egos. They consider themselves king makers of Pakistan and both cannot tolerate another king in the same territory. For masses, it should be an eye opener and people should see the real face of this media, channels, anchors and journalists who never get tired of showing mirror to the politicians.
