This may seem weirdly early for some people but I actually am a bit late to post this. A couple of months ago I attended the Arcadia press day for Autumn Winter 2016, with previews of collections from Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Miss Selfridge and Topshop. I was amazed at the new styles and am already excited to get my hands on them. For this reason I wanted to share my photos from the day and give a small insight into trends coming up in AW16.
Dorothy Perkins:
DP as you already know are pretty much my favourite brand! I love them for their petite collections and well fitting garments for real shaped ladies. I am so excited for their beautiful dresses, embroidered skirts, jumpers and velvet goodies.
Wallis:
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved from Wallis for the up coming season! The butterfly prints inspired from catwalk looks such as the dress Mary Katrantzou are incredible and I am so glad to see butterflies making a come back. They also have the most amazing accessories coming that I can't wait to snatch up.
Topshop:
Topshop has killed is yet again with it's cool yet wearable styles for AW. Think chunky knits, oversized styles, patch work, slogan items and patches continuing into the season. My favourite piece is the pastel faux fur coat, in my colours!!
Miss Selfridge:
I worked for Miss Selfridge as a Visual Merchandiser and Supervisor a couple of years ago and have always loved the feminine and flirty demographic of the brand. This season is no exception with adornments of embroidery details, lace, glitter and the use of soft fabrics like lace and chiffon.
