Inktober on PaigeeWorld
In 2009 Jake Parker created InkTober. Since then, InkTober has grown to be an event for artists worldwide. This year PaigeeWorld is inviting it’s artist members to take part in the this exciting event!
Every October artists from around the globe take part in the InkTober Challenge. Artists create ink based drawings and are encouraged to create one new drawing daily. Members who participate develop positive drawing habits and are able to enhance their inking skills – everyone knows practice makes perfect!
PaigeeWorld is challenging it’s members to participate as well. It is easy to join InkTober – no fancy drawing supplies are required – all you need is a pen and some paper. Anyone can do it. Grab a pen and start drawing!
InkTober Rules:
1) Make a drawing in ink (pen or other)
2) Post it on PaigeeWorld (for PaigeeWorld members), or on your favorite blog or site.
3) Hashtag it with #inktober
4) Repeat
Mr. Parker suggests a full marathon (31 drawings), a half marathon, or as he calls it a 5K (one drawing per week). Whatever you attempt, practice always helps improve your drawing skills.
