The OUT THERE/STYLE team is missing their pop up office at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street

With another London Collections: Men under our belts, we’re back at OutThere/HQ in East London, having spent the infamous festival of fashion at our pop-up digs at THE RADISSON BLU EDWARDIAN BLOOMSBURY STREET. We’re missing the relentless pace of the shows, presentations and parties and most of all our field-office in Bloomsbury – it’s hard to be part of the ‘Bloomsbury set’ when you’re not actually in situ.

From our beautiful suite 4014, we were perfectly situated amidst all the action, not to mention being right in the heart of London – an amazing base to work from, escape to and entertain in – and oasis of calm in London’s throbbing metropolis. Stylish interior design in spacious rooms projected a sense of effortless luxury, whilst the deep, inviting bath in the bedroom provoked comments and longing looks from many a tired fashionista.

The lobby at THE BLOOMSBURY STREET HOTEL

As the official hotel of London Collections: Men, the hotel had some additional perks for the fashion crowd (aka us), with a luxury barber shop, classic shoe shining, whiskey tastings and luxurious Penhaligons products ensuring guests remained pampered and groomed to perfection. Not to mention a model-sanctuary, perfect for our ogling eyes. The team at the hotel were perfectly on point, stylish and unpretentious given the fashion-crowd passing through its doors – amazing hosts and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.

This level of service is hardly surprising, when you consider that they are part of the Radisson Blu Edwardian group, who operate out of 62 countries, offering a ‘Yes I Can!’ service philosophy that means service remains as consistently attentive as we found it across the board. Lastly, I would be remiss not to mention their adjoining restaurant Steak & Lobster, which continues in the latest gastronomical trend of a small but carefully prepared menu, offering – unsuprisingly – steak or lobster cooked to perfection. Perhaps not the ideal choice for any vegetarian guests, but a delicious end to a long day for us carnivores. Most importantly, all this is situated just minutes from Holborn and Oxford street, with a view of the British Museum from our suite that never failed to make me smile. Be it for work or pleasure, The Bloomsbury Hotel has proven itself to be undoubtedly the stylish choice.
