As part of the Purolator Tackle Hunger Weekend, the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa Fury FC are challenging the residents of Ottawa/Gatineau to donate to the Ottawa Food Bank.

The REDBLACKS and Fury FC will be hosting game day food drives. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food and cash donations to TD Place when the REDBLACKS take on the Toronto Argonauts on Friday, September 23rd  and the Fury FC host the Minnesota United FC on Saturday, September 24th.  Last year Ottawa fans generously donated over 40,900lbs of food!  This year, we aim for more!

Fans who participate will have the chance to have their photo taken with the

Grey Cup and win an autographed REDBLACKS or Fury FC jersey.

If you don’t have any non-perishable food items to donate, cash donations will happily be accepted as well! Every dollar donated equals five dollars of food for the Ottawa Food Bank.

If you’re unable to attend the game, you can make a non-perishable donation at Lansdowne Park Whole Foods Market before the end of the Fury FC game and it will be included in the Tackle Hunger total!
