Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, it is a fight that as time goes on, it’s almost thought of as a fantasy fight because of how hard it is to make in reality. Between promotional issues and dueling TV networks, the fight most believe will be the biggest in boxing history still has yet to happen, and with both fighters nearing the end of their boxing careers, many wonder if these two will make one final effort to make the fight the world has wanted to see for many years.

In the third and final part of my interview with Floyd Mayweather Sr, I discuss with him the options that await his son in his future. Floyd talks about a possible fight with Amir Khan and how he thinks Khan would deal with his son’s style. Mayweather also gives his thoughts on when boxing fans could see a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, and which fighter is more likely to meet his son in the ring next. Additionally Floyd gives his views on Mickey Bey’s recent return, and on his reality show, ‘Knockout.’ Here is what Floyd Mayweather Sr. had to say.

Jenna J: If you could pick a person to fight your son next, who would it be? If you had to choose between Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana or Manny Pacquiao, who would you pick?

Floyd Mayweather Sr: First of all, if we fight Pacquiao, that would be last anyways. That would be the fight that’s going away, and that fight would probably be the biggest fight in the world. If Floyd fights Pacquiao, believe me, it’s gonna be the best for last, simple. It’s between Amir Khan or whoever else they got there.

Jenna: Between Amir Khan and Maidana, who would you prefer more?

Mayweather Sr: I would rather see him fight Amir Khan because Khan does have some kind of way of boxing, this guy don’t box at all, this guy is just a wild crazy animal.

Jenna: How would a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Amir Khan go? How do you see it playing out?

Mayweather Sr: That would be an easy fight for Floyd. That would be an easy fight because he tries to box, and that’s what you cannot do with Floyd.

Jenna: Do you have any thought on how it would end?

Mayweather Sr: It could go the distance but Floyd would put a real good whooping on him though, cause he’s a boxer, he ain’t nobody that’s gonna swarm all over you — and the only reason the guy can do that is because he has that kind of weight to do that with Floyd, that’s the only reason he can put his whole bodyweight on Floyd like that.

Can Amir Khan whoop Floyd? Is he more skilled than Floyd? Does he have more knowledge about the game? Is he smarter? None of that, he ain’t got nothing on Floyd, nothing.

Jenna: You recently also trained Mickey Bey for a return fight. Mickey won it even though he got knocked down in the 7th round.

Mayweather Sr: I’m gonna be honest with you, Mickey Bey was really off of his feet, the guy was charging him so Mickey Bey went down. It wasn’t really no big deal at all.

Jenna: Some people are questioning Mickey Bey’s chin. Do they have a reason to do that?

Mayweather Sr: Anybody can question some bodies chin, but if you get hit good by anybody, the bell will ring, I don’t care who you get hit by. Ali clipped ‘Big’ George Foreman, hey George Foreman went down. It don’t make a difference. You get hit with the right thing or you get hit in the right spot, it’s gonna cause a problem.

Jenna: After what you’ve seen, do you think Mickey Bey is ready for a title shot?

Mayweather Sr: Yeah he will be ready. If he ain’t ready, he will be. The only thing I can tell you right now — the last fight, it was alright, but his next fight will be better.

Jenna: Back to your son, what will be the most important thing for your son to do differently to make a second fight with Maidana easier?

Mayweather Sr: Stay off the ropes, stay in the center of the ring and box his eyes out.

Jenna: If that happens, do you think that fight will be completely different than the first one?

Mayweather Sr: I most definitely do.

Jenna: Do you have any message to pass along to team Maidana for the way they fought?

Mayweather Sr: I would tell Maidana, “You’re not a fighter, you fight like an out of the cage gorilla.” I would let him know that, “look everything you do is wrong and you will never be able to whoop my son,” simple.

Jenna: Any message to Robert Garcia?

Mayweather Sr: Oh shit, they’re cheaters. I ain’t got no problem with him. He appears to be a nice guy, but hey, he is cheater, simple. Them guy are telling somebody, “Do whatever it takes to win, just try to get this win.” Then they go out and talk about that he won — they didn’t win shit.

Jenna: Floyd your reality show ‘Knockout’ has been out for a little bit. What do you think of the early episodes?

Mayweather Sr: Well a lot of people are telling me that they like it. I’ve only seen one version of it but a lot of people tell me they really like it. That’s what everybody tells me.

Jenna: How do you think it’s gonna end, do you think you’re gonna come away with the victory in the final?

Mayweather Sr: It ain’t no digity, it ain’t no doubt, they soon find out what it’s all about.
