Hey sakecrew, here’s a definitive (although subject to change because conventions haha) list of where to find us and cool things you can get.
Panels:
Making Visual Novels - Friday 12:00pm (P1)
A fairly standard walk through the planning process of making a visual novel. Plotting stories, basic art things, and a quick rundown of a few of the visual novel engines available. More importantly, I’ll be moderating a Q&A session after with several members of the VN community, so if you have questions, come! We’ll also be giving away some cool prizes at the end.
Lights, Camera, Romance (Backstage Pass) - Friday 5:00pm (P6)
A group panel featuring guests Micah Solusod (Adam), Austin Tindle (Alvin), and Erica Mendez (Allison). Yes, we got the voice actors for all the “A” characters! We’ll talk about Backstage Pass along with general discussion of dating sims and what it’s really like being an actor. We will be giving away free custom autograph cards that you can bring to any autograph sessions.
Let’s Make a Visual Novel! - Saturday 4:00pm (P5)
The last visual novel sakevisual made took four years to complete. This
one will only take one hour! Join us as we speed through the VN-making
process and make an original visual novel from scratch. Nothing can go
wrong!

When we’re not running panels, you can find us in the Dealer’s Room. We have a corner table near the front of the room and we’ll be sharing it with our friends running pachinko machines. We’ll be selling physical copies of Backstage Pass that include a free poster done for us by Studio DEEN (while supplies last). We also have Jisei, Kansei, and Yousei. Buy all three games and get a free Li Mei keychain (while supplies last). Even if you already have all of these games, swing by and say hi. We’d love to see you!
