The Requirement :
The client strives to provide exceptional education in the very best environment which helps students choose opportunity for success. In order to address their modern needs and better manage key school processes, they desired an automated Enterprise School Management system that would streamline their education system process and help them in imparting an excellent academic education to students.
Developing this automated system with a strategic objective of self-service information, paperless processing, and improved enrollments, the following features were the key to build on:

Building an interactive system that would enable students, parents and administrators access to information in a real time manner
Structuring appropriate data relationships through migration from existing system to SugarCRM
Deploying SugarCRM with their existing Microsoft SQL database
The Solution :
To meet their vision of an automated and centralized application, the client chose SugarCRM Professional Edition.Using an agile approach, OSSCube deployed the system by supporting school’s diverse operations related to recruitment, funding and student management.
To meet the exact criteria of flexibility and features, various modules were customized such as Applicant, Meeting, Parish form, Student, Enrollment, Medical information, Payments and Financial Aid module. SugarCRM’s existing modules were also customized to fulfill the client’s specific needs. Overall, 70% of the SugarCRM modules were customized to implement the system and meet the requirements. Seamless integration of SugarCRM with the Admission portal (WordPress), Enrollment portal (WordPress) and E-commerce system (Magento) were developed in order to provide a central data repository for all stakeholders.
By centralizing the student enrollment to a single point of data entry, utilizing preexisting data for returning students and reducing paper copies and storage of paper, the final solution has taken the burden off of the enrollment process. Most importantly, the newly deployed system reduces time spent and simplifies the entire enrollment process.
