Hiring Office Based and Home Based Tutors for LANGUAGE AXIS online English Tutorial

Basic Requirements for both Office Based and Home Based Tutors(must be residents of Davao City for close monitoring)

1. Must have more than a year experience in teaching English Online to Korean, Japanese and Chinese students

* NO TEACHING EXPERIENCE – WILL BE CONSIDERED IF TEACHING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE EXCEPTIONAL

2. Bachelor’s degree in Education major in English is a plus. Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in any field.* COLLEGE LEVEL – WILL BE CONSIDERED IF TEACHING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE EXCEPTIONAL.

3. Can speak and write fluent English with Standard American, Australian or British Accent.

5. Must be willing to work from Mondays to Fridays

6. Experience in teaching TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS is an advantage

7. Proficient in MS Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

8. Must be enthusiastic and must have dynamic teaching methods

9. With a GOOD and POSITIVE attitude, not only towards students and superiors but also to colleagues

10. Must have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment

11. Capable of handling students of all levels,from Beginner to Advanced.

For Home based Tutors:

1. Must be willing to work Office Based for 2 weeks (evaluation purposes)

2. Must have a WIRED internet connection (DSL, Broadband, Cable, etc) plan of at least 512kbps, a good working headset with a noise cancellation function and a web cam

3. Computer/Laptop used must be at least a Pentium IV or higher, and with at least a 512 MB memory or higher

4. Must be situated in a quiet environment and with plain white background.
