The Yunak Evleri Hotel is located in the region of Cappadocia, in Central Anatolia in Turkey. The hotel is located between the mountains and has the fairy chimneys that are typical in this region.

The fairy chimneys are natural structures formed through erosion that can be found throughout Cappadocia. The hotel has been carved into the mountain and has views towards the fairy chimneys.

Rooms.

The hotel has 30 rooms in six houses and a large XIXth century mansion. All rooms are double rooms with a private bathroom, decorated in an antique style. The furniture has been carved by hand and there are antiquities decorating the rooms.

In the main building guests will find the rooms, which can be double rooms, twin rooms, deluxe rooms and suites. The building has many passages and staircases. The rooms date from the fifth and sixth centuries, and despite the modern bathrooms still have a traditional feel.

The rooms and suites in the caves have hardwood floors and kilim carpets. There is a working area with a desk, chair and light, a safe, a CD library, a mini bar and tea and coffee making machines. Each room has its own marble bathroom and thick bathrobes and towels. The suites have larger bathrooms, and there are suites with a hydromassage shower and suites with a jacuzzi. Each room is decorated in a traditional Ottoman style, and each room has a private patio with views towards the plains.

There is a large patio with a lounge where guests can relax while sitting on Turkish cushions placed in front of the fireplace. The hotel’s restaurant is a large room with a terrace, and guests can enjoy their traditional Turkish meals inside and outside. The restaurant has another terrace on the roof where guests can enjoy candle lit dinners with views towards the fairy chimneys.

Events.

The hotel’s conference hall is located inside the main stone building. The conference hall is equipped with audiovisual equipment, a large desk and several chairs.

In the stone mansion there is a music room with a large collection of CD’s and a sound system. In another hall guests will find a computer with wireless Internet access. Another hall has a home cinema with a collection of DVDs.

Location.

The hotel is located near the village of Urgup and is carved directly into the mountain. Guests who stay at this hotel can explore the Cappadocia region, known for its underground cities, cavernous churches hidden in mountains and caves.

The hotel can arrange transport from and to the Kayseri and Nevsehir airports. Tours around the Cappadocia region can be organized. Guests can visit the many ancient caves located a short distance away from the hotel.

The hotel’s staff can organize activities in the region. Guests can explore Cappadocia from above during a tour in a hot air balloon that flies above the fairy chimneys, the valleys and the vines.

The staff organizes several guided walking tours around the traditional villages of Cappadocia. In the region there are several hiking trails that pass through the valleys and villages. There are several bicycle tours that allow guests to see the valleys and vines.
